It was a beautiful night on August 29, 2023 when we welcomed 20 guests to our very first vertical tasting of 5 vintages of our Estate Frontenac wine. It was extra special, as it was the inaugural event held on our new Prairie Pavilion.
Wine Tasting and Education
Winemaker, Greg Cook, led the guests on a journey through time as they tasted our Estate Frontenac vintages of 2017-2022 - with one exception. 2020 was the year that shall not be named, for many reasons, including a total crop failure that resulted in no Estate wine released in that year. There were many questions and answers as Greg described each vintage and the many variables that made each year unique.
The perfect ending.
The evening ended with a stroll through the vineyard at sunset with a glass of their favorite vintage. It was a perfect ending to a perfect evening with friends old and new.
